Junior Gold is one of our favorite events to be part of! We love meeting youth athletes and their families from all around the United States through the sponsor activities before the event begins!

Throughout the week our team participated in the big Demo Day, Trade Show, and Party at the Park! The hot topic for our team was definitely AI (Amplified Inertia) Core Technology.

At the demo on Thursday on Friday, the athletes who participated got the opportunity to see the enhanced strike potential that the all-new AI outer core provides when they tested out the new Summit! They also tested out the DNA from Storm, TNT and Duo from Roto Grip, and Zen Gold Label and Xponent from 900 Global. Our SPI Athletes in attendance bowled with the youth athletes, gave them tips, and signed some autographs throughout the day.

On Saturday, the youth athletes and their families were able to get up close and personal with AI Core Technology! They could touch and feel the impact of the enhancements that have been developed by our R&D Team. As they waited in line to meet some of their favorite players, they got the opportunity to hold our giant AI outer core over their head and learn about the differences that this new advancement brings. Hundreds of bowlers got the opportunity to learn about AI Core Technology.

Inside the SPI Booth, we also had a great group of Team SPI Athletes. Bryanna Cote, Brad Miller, and Kyle Sherman represented Storm Bowling, Anthony Simonsen and Stefanie Johnson represented Roto Grip, and Sean Rash and Daria Pajak represented 900 Global. Watching youth bowlers meet and interact with their favorite pros is always fun to see! As a bonus this year, our Youth Evolution Team spent some time inside the SPI Booth interacting with other youth athletes throughout the day. The Evolution Team is an extension of the Evolution Program which is comprised of youth athletes from around the country who have an unbridled enthusiasm for the sport of bowling. These youth athletes have been chosen based on their success on the lanes, community services involvement, integrity, loyalty, and encouragement of others.

This provide an opportunity to talk to more youth athletes about the Evolution Program which is a free program open to all youth athletes, regardless of skill level or brand affiliation, who have a strong desire to learn and sharpen their skills on and off the lanes. On Sunday, our SPI Athletes headed out to the Party at the Park to play some games and hang out with the youth athletes and their families! The athletes paired up and took on teams in games of cornhole. The weather was perfect, and it was a great way to spend the day together before the tournament kicked off!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi to Team SPI at one of the activities throughout the weekend. We look forward to following the scores and watching Bowl TV over the next several days and watching the finals on CBS Sports Network.

See you on the lanes!
