Inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 2022, Wes has collected plenty of trophies, accomplishments, and nicknames along the way. Early in his career the “Big Nasty” (in reference to his explosive strike ball and overall size and stature) became a household name during the 2008-2009 season where he took home PBA Player of the Year honors as a result of his three titles along with the George Young High Average Award. From there he successfully defended his “King of Bowling” title eight consecutive times including two televised 300 games during that span. While more recently “The Franchise” collected the PBA League Mark Roth MVP award twice while helping the Portland Lumberjacks win three PBA League Elias Cup Championships.
