Storm Products, Inc. (SPI) proudly announces the appointment of Rob Gotchall as the Director of Bowling Operations. With an extensive background in the industry and a proven track record of success, Gotchall brings a wealth of expertise to this pivotal role.
In his capacity as Director of Bowling Operations, Gotchall will lead the professional sports division collaborating closely with the SPI Tour Team, acting as a key liaison of information about SPI equipment to athletes. Additionally, he will represent Team SPI at seminars and sponsored events throughout the year. Gotchall will also play a vital role in working with the marketing team on initiatives designed to enhance experiences with the SPI brands.

With over three decades of experience in the bowling industry, Gotchall has dedicated himself to sharing his love for the game and inspiring others to master their skills. His journey began in the bowling hub of Lincoln, Nebraska, where, at the age of 15, he took on his first job at a bowling center. As a teenager, Gotchall immersed himself in every aspect of the bowling center, learning best business practices while perfecting his personal game.
In 2010, he pursued competitive amateur bowling, spending six years on the road and achieving notable success, including winning one PBA Regional Title, numerous major amateur events and representing Team USA in 2014 and 2016.
Gotchall's contributions extend beyond the lanes, with previous roles including ball testing and development within R&D, Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Manager of Player and Performance at Ebonite International. His responsibilities included assisting in product development, managing the worldwide staff program, and developing the professional tour team.
Following his tenure at Ebonite International, Gotchall joined the USBC in January 2020, initially in the Sports Management Program and later overseeing Short Duration Tournaments. Before joining SPI, he also collaborated in PWBA Operations and Youth Event roll.
