Just getting back into bowling weekly with friends and thought it was time to upgrade my 1987 Columua 300 u dot as the 16# was too heavy. So, I decided an entry level reactive ball 30 years newer would be ok. I went with this Camo at 15# and was impressed!
This ball rolls consistently for me right out of the box!

This is a HP1 ball that reacts and hits like a HP4 ball. Well worth the money! Love the smooth ball motion and power punch it has!! Great job Roto Grip!!!

Wow is this ball good! It can play from straighter which I expected. What I didn't expect is that I could swing the lane as much as I can and still have energy to punish the pins. The amazing thing is I didn't have to change surface to do either of those things. I am not a staffer. I am just an a disabled veteran that started bowling 3 years ago at age 34. Since then I have accrued 17 Rotogrip/storm/global bowling balls and have a USBC average between 210 and 222. All those balls have been great in their own right. Only one of those impressed me as much as the Hustle Camo and the camo is nearly half the price of that ball. This is my first HP1 ball I've gotten from Roto. I bought it thinking it be great for the burn, in late blocks of tournaments. Then I pulled it out of my bag, never thrown before, on the fresh and threw 8 strikes in a row. With a total of 10 strikes in the game. I don't review balls often and definitely don't "hype" balls. This is one of those bowling balls that will roll good for anyone. This ball really is THAT good. If you're just getting your 1st or second ball or have 30 but need a versatile ball for nearly any condition, look no further!

Review:
The Hustle Camo has been a nice surprise for me. I had expected the ball would have a sanded finish because the PBR does. I prefer my PBR polished so when I unboxed the Camo and it already was shiny it was a nice surprise. When I heard Camo was the color I was not sure what it would look like but the colors with the polish look really good. The Hustle Camo creates a very nice controlled shape on the lane when stronger balls are giving you more motion than you need. The Camo starts up a bit sooner than the Wine. For me the Camo hooks a little more than the wine. This ball rolls surprisingly well and has won a place in my tournament line up. The core and cover create a very predictable semi strong motion on drier patterns. I have not tried it on short patterns but feel it would be good. The Hustle Camo hits as hard as balls that cost much more. As stated the color blend of the ball has very nice shelf appeal also. The Hustle line is a great option for bowlers who want more punch than an entry level reactive ball or tournament bowlers building a complete arsenal. The Camo should be very versatile for all styles of bowers that don’t need a hook monster.

Summary:
The Hustle Camo rolls like a higher priced ball.
The control and hit of this ball are very good.
The Camo will be a nice addition to round out an arsenal.

Roto Grip Hustle Camo:
VTC Solid Reactive with the Hustle Core
1500 grit polished - layout : 6 x 1 x 6
Compared to the Hustle INK the Camo is really smooth and less reaction then the INK with a similar layout. I needed something with the recent house shot changes that would be super smooth and not overreact on the fresh. Played out of the normal track area and used the lighter oil outside of ten to help develop the shot. If used inside round 12-18, the ball just ran out of juice - mainly due to the layout. This ball and layout combo was fabulous on shorter patterns and lighter volumes on wood lanes. Really nice addition to the Roto Grip line. Don't be fooled by the CAMO, it's for REAL!

I drilled the Hustle CAMO up 4 x 20. I threw it box finish.
Hustle CAMO review: I put the CAMO up against the other smoother gear I carry like the IQ TOUR, IQ NANO PEARL, HUSTLE PBR, and HUSTLE RAP. Compared to the IQ TOUR, the CAMO is smoother thru the front. I keep 2000 on my IQ TOUR so the CAMO definitely glided thru the front much easier than both the TOUR an NANO PEARL. The NANO PEARL was more on the back end than the CAMO which should be expected since it is a stronger cover. CAMO and PBR were getting closer in motion. PBR is slightly earlier but very similar motion. CAMO does corner better but gets thru the front of the lane quicker. RAP was closer in push thru the front but slower at the back than the CAMO. CAMO has a HUSTLE INK vibe to it with a shined lower end solid cover that will get in play when the fronts are really getting toasty and the smooth balls like the IQ TOUR are still too early.
