At Storm Products, charitable giving is vital to our brand purpose, and we try to raise funds and educate about meaningful causes all year long. One way the Storm Nation community comes together is by helping to Paint the Lanes PINK® (PTLP).
With the help of the entire bowling community, Storm Products Inc. presented a donation of $127,678.48 to the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). An additional donation of $25,000 was donated from the Striking Against Breast Cancer Foundation was presented by Donna Conners and Carol Norman. This is in addition to their donation of $10,000 in December.
“It’s an honor to work on Storm’s Paint the Lanes Pink campaign each year,” Leanne Hulsenberg, Tournament, Events and Charity Manager said. “Each year, we learn about the innovative cancer trials and breakthroughs that our donation supports. The Huntsman Cancer Institute has a vital role in cancer research and each year we feel hope that we may see a cure for cancer someday.”
In 2022, our campaign featured the exclusive Pink PTLP PhysiX™ and they sold out in 8 minutes. Only 300 of this special release were produced for Storm fans to purchase. In addition, several new PTLP products were added to the Storm Shop. These dedicated PTLP products support the initiatives year-round.
“It’s very special to know that all the fans contribute to our donation through the purchase of our PTLP products all year to help us spread awareness for a cause that affects millions,” Hulsenberg said. “Our donation wouldn’t be possible without the support of Storm Nation and the entire bowling community.”
