I was a late bloomer, not good enough to make my college team at San Jose State, I worked hard over the next 10 years, winning my first PBA Regional in 1991. I love to compete and coach - it drives me to learn more about the sport every day. I've bowled on the PBA50 Tour for the last 17 years and while the 3 titles are great, the friendships I've made along the way have been the best part of the journey. Think about it - how many lifelong friends have you made through bowling? Every one of my PBA50 titles have come by defeating a great Hall of Fame player. How much more can you ask in your career than that?

I've been married to my wife Elissa since 1981, with children Leslie and Alex. I play a lot of golf when I get the chance and enjoy doing any activity with them.

My other world has been technical, with a Bachelors degree in Meteorology and a Masters in Computer Information Systems. I had the chance to do a lot of interesting work in my career, but my first love has always been bowling.

I'm also a Gold level coach, and I love to help players of all levels get better. I've coached everyone from beginners to PBA Tour players and every coaching experience is a learning experience as well. I love doing whatever I can do to give back to a sport that has given me so much!
