I've lived in Beaumont Texas all my life. I was introduced to bowling at a very young age as my parents were avid bowlers and each served as president of the local associations. When I was 12 we moved to a house one block from the bowling center and of course I was hooked. After trying a little stint playing junior college baseball I set my sights on becoming a better bowler and had a friend sponsor me for 4 weeks on the 1980 PBA Summer Tour. I guess the rest is history as I managed a respectable 20 year career doing what I loved to do. In 1999 a friend invited me to be a partner in a bowling center here in Beaumont and I've been the owner of Crossroads Bowling Center since 2000. 20 years on tour and 18 owning a center. I've definitely been living the dream.
I play a lot of golf and a little poker. I'm a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and Houston Astros fan.
