ELECTRIFY PEARL

At Storm, our mission is simple: keep pushing the boundaries of research and development in order to provide you with a diverse selection of bowling balls to combat lane conditions of all lengths, shapes, and volumes. Usually, these efforts lead to the creation of one new ball at a time. However, this time, we’ve come up with something so good that we just had to give you two shockingly good choices at once! With that, we proudly bring you the Electrify Hybrid and the Electrify Pearl.

Something new. Something different.

The Circuit Core is the ultimate baseline weapon featuring a lowered RG and midrange differential for laserlike precision. This will undeniably become the perfect all-around core design for all player types.

The Reactor coverstock is the benchmark in design

In use for over a decade, the Reactor coverstock is still going strong. When something has been this successful there is no reason to get rid of it. Reactor material is moderately aggressive, but still offers a fair amount of control without over-reacting on the backend.

Thermal representation of the moderately aggressive traction touchpoints of the Reactor Coverstock.

Weight in 11 and lighter are different designs
My pro shop webpage was made by some old farts and stated all electrify balls had same weight design, it’s false, I felt the expected perfect hook was missing. Moved to a lighter ball due to medical issues sucks as is. From 235 14lbs to 103 11lbs. Storm should of made all spinner hook balls is why I give this ball 1 star. But no need to buy a mix ball, I have one that cost me twice as much. Hopefully this unpredictable ball grows to be my spare ball.

Electrify Pearl - Great Ball for Lighter Oil Conditions!
The Electrify Pearl is a great ball for lighter oil and drier patterns! It gets down the lane very well and corners hard! I drilled it out with a 70 × 6 1/4" × 30 layout. Ideal ball to have when you need length and a later, sharper breakpoint closer to the pins!

5th game out of the box
I have been bowling for probably 45 years. I decided I needed a new ball that had a pearl finish to go longer before the hook. 4 of the 5 guys on my team shoot the same general area (2nd arrow) as I do. The 5th game out was a 300. My 1st. the 4th, 5th , & 6th games gave me a 719 scratch series. (175-185 average). I would definitely recommend this ball for a tweener that wants to store energy until further down the lane.

Perfect Ball
I started bowling about 16 months ago and as someone who doesn’t throw the ball hard at all (12-14mph) with a decently high rev rate this ball has been amazing, it’s so versatile to where it doesn’t just hook a lot or not hook at all, it’s really the best of both worlds between a strong bowling ball and a spare ball

Electrify Pearl - Its Electrifying!!!
Storm -Electrify Pearl - 35 x 3 1/2 x 30 - 1500 grit polished - Reactor Pearl cover with the new Circuit core.
Test lane condition: Broadwalk and USBC White
I drilled it to be used on shorter patterns and for a center I sub at that has HPL on the heads and great looking wood in the backends. I found that this layout and ball selection was great on Boardwalk and the shorter White pattern. Was able to play up the gutter and in the dirt and the ball did not hook up early like I expected it to with such a short front number. This brought me back some good memories seeing this ball react very similar to one of my old favorites - the Horizon from Roto Grip. If you are looking for that ball that helps you on shorter patterns or on wood lanes this will be a great ball to add to your weekly league bag.

Review:
The new Electrify Pearl is a very eye catching ball that smells great! It may have a lot of pink in the color but the guys are buying and like the look. As I stated before I have been a fan of the Match Ups but this Pearl may just be an upgrade on the Match Up Pearl. I think I see a bit more mid lane motion and drive with this Electrify Pearl over the Matchup Pearl. Both balls carry very well. The Electrify Hybrid and Pearl have the same finish, cover and core but they move differently for me. The Hybrid reads earlier and seems to roll heavier so I had to move 3/ 3 to my right and find more friction when using the Pearl. When I found a line the carry was better than expected. The Electrify Pearl saves power for backend with a nice move and hit. I have used this ball at a few dryer houses now and it does not disappoint. It is a great ball going up the boards or down and in unless you have a power game than it is sweet control. I have drilled a few of these for our no thumb bowlers and they are very pleased. The Electrify Pearl is one of the best dry lane balls I have rolled.

Summary:
The Electrify Pearl works great on dry conditions.
The color and smell of the ball are a big draw to shoppers.
The Electrify Pearl has a sweet move at the break point.

Storm Electrify
By the video I watch seems like a great ball,I have on reserve the parallax ball, and Am looking for a great med ball, for 2nd @ 3rd game in league’ But my Q is WHY can’t storm have a lefty Rep rolling in a video as I’m a lefty and then sometimes it would be good to have at least 1 slow motion so ppl can see the release of the hand movement of ball.. some ppl can not afford lessons and watching a video and with 1 slow mo in the lefty’s rolling the ball 3 times is not to much to ask? Because it helps ppl to watch and to repeat it on a lane to better them self’s! It’s not a lesson it’s just making one of the rolls in slow motion.. that would be great

Electrify Pearl
Long and strong at the end. Hard to get a true picture since less oil is used in the summer and only to 32 feet.
