BIOGRAPHY
My dad, Fred loved bowling and took me when I was 8. He was very
competitive and taught me how to bowl to win. In Houston, I had plenty of
competition locally but also bowled many PWBA events both regionally
and nationally. At that time in my life , I chose to work in corporate America
but competed in leagues and tournaments as much as possible. Always
loved helping the kids and studied the sport to improve my teaching
abilities. In 2006, Carol Norman and myself opened Carol Norman’s Pro
Shop. We are passionate about bowling and helping people by teaching
them proper techniques with the latest in bowling technology such as
Strike Seeker and SPECTO. Each customer deserves to be helped from the
time they walk into the pro shop by watching them bowl assessing their
personal needs to the time they walked out with their new ball getting to
test it for the 1st time on the lanes.
That was 17 years ago and each day has been a learning experience for
both the customer and myself. Love it all. Being able to coach all levels of
bowlers from beginners to professional level athletes competing on tour
has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
