Bowling News USA - April 23, 2012 CDB Top Seed at Queens...

This just in...

Roto Grip staffer Carolyn Dorin-Ballard has earned the top seed position for the 2012 USBC Queens, presented by Storm Bowling Products. Dorin-Ballard defeated Stephanie Nation 596 - 592 in the final of the Winner's Bracket Monday at AMF Showplace Lanes in Euless, Texas.

Nation is seeded second for the finals, which will be held at the International Training and Research Center in Arlington, Texas, televised live on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday.

Action continues for the remaining three finalist spots. Bowlers still in contention include Storm's Diandra Asbaty, former Queens champions Missy Parkin/Liz Johnson, and Josie Earnest. The lowest score among the four bowlers is eliminated.
