Storm Nation - October 19, 2012 The Johnson Boys Storm On

Accomplishment: Sometimes our staff members have to watch the action on the lanes and this past weekend, Storm family member Chris Johnson was a proud father. His twin sons competed in Danny Wiseman’s Youth Scholarship tournament at AMF Country Club in Baltimore, MD. Quincy and Quinton were amongst the field of 70 competing for scholar-dollars. The boys found their way into the top 16 with their Storm balls after qualifying. Quincy finished 16th after match play while Quinton turned up the heat as he posted a new career high of 255 which helped him move up from third to second for the stepladder finals. Despite a loss in the semi-final match, Quinton was still happy with his performance. Quinton earned $500 for his SMART account while his brother Quincy earned $75. Mom and dad were happy about the SMART money while Quinton was happy to receive a trophy and a picture with tournament host Danny Wiseman.
