Matt McNiel

    BIOGRAPHY

I grew up in the bowling industry. Since age 3, most of my life has been spent in a bowling center, either working or practicing. At age 16, I began working in the pro shop industry and instantly had a passion for it, I have continued to be involved with On Track Pro Shops based in Minneapolis for the last 17 years. Education and learning are extremely important to me. In 2015 I completed my master’s degree in criminal justice and began a career with the Target Corporation, leading the internal security operations team at their headquarters building.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, seeing the world and experiencing new cultures, history and foods. I collect vinyl records, play piano and enjoy seeing live music at the local jazz club. Anything old school or old-fashioned appeals to me, especially bowling related. I really enjoy watching the old ABC telecasts and have a deep appreciation for the history of our sport.

I have a huge passion for coaching, helping bowlers achieve more success and enjoy the sport of bowling more. Joining the STORM family at the beginning of the year was a dream come true for me as they are the most progressive and innovative manufacturer in the industry. I hope to be able to contribute to the STORM family and to the sport of bowling for many years to come.
